NTSE - MAT & SAT Online Workbook

NTSE - MAT & SAT

NTSE - MAT & SAT online workbook is patterned on the actual rigour and difficulty of National Talent Search Examination (NTSE). The workbook is designed by a panel of experts who have been following the NTSE for the past many years. The workbook attempts to cover every single NTSE topic that appeared in past NTSE. Every topic has multiple drills that could be used as 'Tests'. All the drills are timed so that you attempt to answer the questions within the prescribed limits of time. This helps increase your speed.

Instant analysis by TCY Analytics will be provided at the end of every test. The analytics helps to identify grey areas so that you can take timely remedial measures before the final test. This instant analysis also helps improve your skills by:
  • Comparing your current performance with that of the toppers
  • Comparing your performance and your progression with those of your chosen friends.
  • Comparing your attempt pattern with that of others.
  • Identifying your areas of strength and/or improvement

How to use the course
For Scholastic Aptitude section, we strongly recommend that you give a thorough reading to NCERT textbooks of classes VI - VIII (for Mathematics, Science and Social Science) and similar topics given in textbooks of Class IX before you start with the test series. The work book provides topic wise drills. These have been designed to cater to all your needs, from sensitizing you with various topics, to providing in-depth exercises. Prepare well before taking the respective drill In the Mental Ability section, use the first drill as your practice test and the subsequent drills as time-based tests. The practice drill enables you to work on your concepts, and the subsequent drills help you to improve your speed. After taking the topic wise drills, go for Mock - NTSE. This test is patterned on and gives you feel of the real NTSE. The work book is divided into two levels level - 1 and level - 2. Level - 1 is ideally for Class - VII students and for beginners whereas Level - 2 is dedicated to Class - VIII students with an intermediate skill level.

Trace your Progress
"My Analytics" will manage the progress report of the student, provide him details of all the drills taken, help analyze his/her overall performance and also provide the 'Comparative Analysis' of performance (on individual topics) vis-à-vis that of friends and peers. Such analysis helps the student benchmark not only his own progress but also comparative peer performance which is crucial in any competitive examination. A student can monitor his overall growth and current status with such parameters.

Analyses of drills are made in three forms:
  1. Question wise analysis
This is a comprehensive analysis with detailed solutions of all the questions
  2. Topic wise analysis
This helps a student know his strengths, skill levels and areas needing improvement on various topics in the particular section.
  3. Difficulty analysis
Questions are divided into three sections: easy, medium and difficult. The difficulty analysis will help assess accuracy level separately for questions at each level of difficulty and strategize the attempt.
  4. The reports generated on the basis of "My Analytics" provide a detailed overview of the student's potential to other stake holders.
