GATE 2011 (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) results have been announced at GATE offices of IISc (Indian Institute of Science) and seven IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) today. Candidates can check the result on its official website: http://www.iitk.ac.in/gate/gate2011/results.php .
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination, which is conducted every year for the direct admission to M.Tech courses at the IISc and the seven IITs. GATE this year was conducted online and offline on 30 January and 13 February.
The overall coordination and responsibility of conducting GATE 2011 lies with Indian Institute of Technology Madras. GATE qualification is also a minimum requirement to apply for various fellowships awarded by many Government organizations.
