Sectional Break up: There were 4 sections in the paper, with marking scheme of 4 marks for each correct answer and -1 for each incorrect answer.

Section 1: English Usage
There were total 35 questions in this section. Six questions were on Fill in the blanks. Almost all were vocab based. Difficulty level was moderate. Four questions were on GRE level Analogies with difficulty level ranging from moderate to tough. Five questions were on Idioms and Phrases with mixed difficulty level. A couple of questions were on Antonyms and Synonyms. These were easy. 3 questions were on finding reference to quotes by Mark Twain, George Bernard Shah and Aldous Huxley. The question options were tricky and confusing. There were 10 questions based on given 10 un-related statements. All these questions basically tested students’ vocabulary. These were difficult questions. Rest of questions were mixed of vocab and idiom based. These were relatively easier.
 
Section 2: Reading Comprehension
There were 40 questions in 5 passages (each having 8 questions). The topics covered in each passage were Operational Definitions and Open Concepts (philosophy), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Synethesia, Western economics and Culture and technology. All the passages were lengthy. Most of the questions were of high difficulty level. The choice options were close and confusing.
